A large group of mahi raranga practitioners and midwives came together for a one-day wānaka to share mātauraka around whariki for birthing and ipu whenua.

Uku artist, Ipo Jakeman, led a two-day wānaka in Ōtautahu, teaching Māori midwives and whānau how to make ipu whenua from clay.
